Rosalino Cellammare, AKA Ron, will appear in the Sesto Senso Opera Festival in Taormina in an exlusive artistic production: Ron – Lucio! The TOUR along with Medisonus I Solisti Del Sesto Armonico. With his story telling concert on Lucio Dalla’s music, he will occupy the heart of this wonderful show with wich Medisonus creators have wanted to launch this innovative project, fitted inside the first edition of the Sesto Senso Opera Festival.

It will be Maestro Peppe Vessicchio, who with Umberto Sturniolo gave birth to the initiative that bonds music with scientific research on psycho-physical wellness, to open the concert offering Natural-Harmonic music pieces, that thanks to a particular polyphonic structure are able to stimulate more harmonic balances of the vital functions in living organisms such as plants, animals and human beings. The medical community has spent decades studying and intervening on such phenomenoms through the science of PNEI, institute of psiconeuroendocrinoimmunologia, demonstrating how fondamental the Holistic approach is both in the medical history and in the care phase.

Ron is one of the most loved and important Italian Songwriters. His career started in 1970 when, not even seventeen years old, he rose on the stage of the Festival di Sanremo performing Pà diglielo a Mà, immediately gaining a strong reputation. In the 70’s, Ron puts the roots for his artistic career: the friendship and collaboration with Lucio Dalla (It owes him also the choice of the name Ron), the writing of the first music (Ron’s, for example  è Piazza Grande), formed the artist and launched him definitely in the Italian music industry.

In 2018 he takes part in the 68° edition on the Festival di Sanremo with Lucio Dalla’s unpublished song Almeno Pensami winning the Mia Martini critics prize, ranking in fourth place. His author career begins in 1972, when with Dalla he writes the music of Piazza Grande, presented then in Sanremo by himself. Unforgettable are some of his songs such as Non abbiam bisogno di paorle, Anima, Joe Temerario, Una Città Per Cantare, Vorrei incontrarti fra cent’anni, Attenti al Lupo.

Introducing Ron’s concert, I Solisti Del Sesto Armonico directed by M° Peppe Vessicchio. The well-known conductor, born in 1956, embarks his first steps in music in Naples, his hometown. He begins his career making records for Bennato, Di Capri and other artists, having collaborations even with Gino Paoli.

Steady presence at the Festival di Sanremo since 1990, four times winner for best arranger and best conductor, the last one with Chiamami Ancora Amore by Roberto Vecchioni.

During his long and rich career he collaborated with famous artists such as Gino Paoli, Elio e le Storie Tese, Zucchero, Andrea Bocelli, Avion Travel, Fiorella Mannoia, Ron, Piero Mazzocchetti and Eros Ramazzotti.

Known to the public also as a music teacher and conductor on the television program Amici di Maria De Filippi, where he discovered the tenor Matteo Macchioni. He then wrote Sogno for Andrea Bocelli, directed the orchestra in honor of John Lennon at the Kremlin, and he conducter Mario Biondi and the Duke Orchestra at the Teatro Smeraldo in Milan.

Ad introdurre il concerto di Ron, I solisti del Sesto Armonico diretti dal M° Peppe Vessicchio. Il noto direttore d’orchestra, nasce nel 1956 e intraprende i suoi primi passi nella musica a Napoli, città in cui è nato. Esordisce nella sua carriera realizzando dischi per Bennato, Di Capri ed altri cantanti, fino ad arrivare a collaborazioni con Gino Paoli.

Presenza quasi fissa al Festival di Sanremo dal 1990, per quattro volte ha vinto il premio come miglior arrangiatore ed altrettante volte come direttore d’orchestra, l’ultima con Chiamami ancora amore di Roberto Vecchioni. Nella sua lunga e ricca carriera ha collaborato anche con artisti del calibro di Gino Paoli, Elio e le Storie Tese, Zucchero, Andrea Bocelli, Avion Travel, Fiorella Mannoia, Ron, Piero Mazzocchetti ed Eros Ramazzotti.

È noto al pubblico televisivo anche come insegnante di musica e direttore d’orchestra del programma televisivo Amici di Maria De Filippi in cui ha scoperto l’aspirante tenore Matteo Macchioni. Ha poi scritto Sogno di Andrea Bocelli, ha diretto in mondovisione l’orchestra che ha suonato in onore di John Lennon dal Cremlino ed ha diretto dal Teatro Smeraldo di Milano Mario Biondi and Duke Orkestra.
